All values run from 0 to 100. Green means low risk, yellow moderate and red high — the higher the number, the greater the probability of disruption and price impact.
Each strait or canal has a risk level and a trend (↑ worsening, → stable, ↓ easing). The Global Risk Index is the average of all of them. When a choke point rises, the commodities that pass through it tend to get more expensive first.
Each card is a sanctions regime. The level (Moderate to Severe) indicates how broad the restrictions are. Exposed companies are examples of listed stocks directly affected — relevant if you hold them, or their competitors, in your portfolio. Click a card for details.
The Dependency Score combines three factors: geographic concentration (HHI — the higher it is, the more production sits in the hands of a few countries), political risk of producers, and choke point exposure. A score above 85 means a critical chain: if a shock hits, there are few alternatives.
